  1. 2 Tbs - butter
  2. 2 Tbs - flour
  3. 2 cups - milk
  4. 1 Tbs - Traditional PepperJam
  5. Salt + pepper to taste
  1. Melt the butter in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Stir in the flour and cook, stirring over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour in all of the milk, whisking constantly to blend the mixture smooth.
  4. Increase the heat and continue whisking while the sauce comes to a boil.
  5. Season with a little salt.
  6. Reduce the heat and simmer for at least 45 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent the sauce from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  7. When the sauce thickens to the desired consistency, add Traditional PepperJam.
