Red Wine Gravy
- 2 Tbs - Butter
- 1 Tbs - Traditional Pepper Jam
- 2 Tbs - Flour
- 1 + 1/2 cup - dry red wine
- 1/2 cup - water
- salt and pepper to taste
- Make a roux with the butter and flour.
- Stir until it begins to brown slightly.
- Add Traditional PepperJam.
- Slowly add the water to make a paste.
- Add wine, whisking constantly.
- Bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
